LUV Nails Bar

We absolutely love love love Wendy and Ken!! Wendy did my daughter’s Halloween nails. Ken did my ombré French nails. Both were so thorough and detail oriented! The salon is clean and relaxing. This is our go-to salon when we’re in the area!

The nails look pretty on top, but there is polymer all over my fingertips, my cuticles were cut multiple times and the stylist just wiped the blood away WITH AN UNGLOVED FINGER and kept working, didnt let the top coat sit so there is now texture in the nail (the green photo is the polish texture. I did not get shimmer.) and didn’t even file the underside of the nails. I would expect this for $40 but not $70.

Ken and Wendy are fantastic at Luv Nails! The salon is clean, their team is efficient, and they always go above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied with my nail service. Thanks Luv Nails!

I was excited about this place. I went in the morning and it was quiet and peaceful. They offer complimentary beverages which is a nice touch. I got a pedicure and wanted an acrylic big toenail for the shape and style. They quickly talked me out of that for some reason. I opted to get my nails done too for my anniversary trip coming up. I tried the liquid gel. It burns like fire! 🔥 like extreme pain. They told me everyone experiences this and it wasn’t just me. I showed him a picture of what I wanted- a white ombré with a coffin style shape. I left there with misshaped nails, paint everywhere /all around the outside of the nail, and the underneath was filled with globs of the gel that wasn’t smoothed out. Two days later my pinky nail broke and I went back for a fix. They didn’t charge me for the fix thankfully. My pinky nail fix looked worse than it did when I went in to have it fixed. I’ll leave pictures below for you to decide if you’re ok with this quality of work before you go there. It’s really hard to find a quality nail tech that will listen to you and actually cares about the quality of their work. It wasn’t terrible but not worth the $130 I spent.

I had such great experience here at Luv Nails! It’s been now the 5th time since I moved to Mechanicsburg that I come always here! I had a hard time to find such a good place like this one. I will never leave. Wendy did my beautiful nails and she is one of the best! I love my nails!
