GLOSS NAIL SALON

I have been coming here for years and it’s not like me to leave negative reviews, however I made an appointment for a fill on 7/23. Between the male worker and the one lady worker, I lost count of the amount of burns caused by the metal drill bit. A chunk was then drilled out of my skin and cut too deep into my real nail. I asked the lady to please avoid even filing that side because it hurt so bad. I am still hurting 2 days later and it bleeds occasionally. I paid for the full service even though I was in so much pain I was sweating during the appointment, I didn’t want to cause a scene and leave halfway through. My skin was burning from the amount of acrylic that was left on my skin and under my nails. I also said how much pain I was in and that didn’t seem to have any impact. I have been satisfied up until this point but with how extreme of pain I left in, i’m unsure if I’ll be back.

Gloss is the best nail salon in central PA! Rachel is amazing and the only person I trust anymore to do my nails. Everyone is super nice, the salon is gorgeous and I’m always happy with my nails. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so! 💅💞

I was absolutely thrilled with my experience today at Gloss. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment for the afternoon. They took me right away and I was in and out within 30 mins! Rachel did an amazing job with my manicure. I’m usually too shy to ask for designs and haven’t had good results in the past, but wanted to try something new and she absolutely nailed it!! I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a manicure. Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful work—once again! I came back after four weeks away in New York, and not a single chip or break on my manicure. I had my nails refilled and maintained, and they still looked amazing. The foot massage and callus removal were incredibly relaxing. Her mom always does such a wonderful job with my pedicures. Nestled in a quaint Camp Hill neighborhood, this place is a true gem. Honestly, I almost didn’t want to leave a review—because it’s that good, and I didn’t want my little secret getting out! I'm not one to post reviews, good or bad, but I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with Rachel. She's great when you're a happy customer but when your acrylics fall off for no reason and you see a fungus underneath (this is the 3rd time this has happened with her salon), she doesn't respond to your texts and doesn't make it better for her customer. I WAS a loyal customer, came to get my nails done all the time here, was pleased with my nails but Gloss has zero accountability when they cause you trouble with your nails, it's a shame. Please don't be fooled that you're important to her because you're not. My son gets married in 2 weeks (she knows this) but do you think she cares? NOPE. No courtesy of sending me a response to my text, No apology, no nothing (birds chirping!). Now I HOPE to get this fungus gone before the wedding so my nails look OK for that special occasion. I guess being a good tipper doesn't matter at all. Not surprising.
