The Sapphire

Just left the sapphire salon in Pittston for the 1 carat package my husband purchased for me and I had Jane,Sarah & Pam the three of these ladies did a phenomenal job with my facial,massage and manicure. Great atmosphere, great kind hearted and patient people, I left very happy. Highly recommend! Thank you ladies for making my experience great!

Very nice large modern spa. The staff was welcoming. They offer free refreshments for all clients. Sierra gave me a pleasant pedicure. Will return. I gave it 4 stars because the bathroom was not private.

I chose Sapphire because I was very familiar with the salon and had always received great service in the past before moving out of state. Unfortunately, this time was extremely disappointing. I had an appointment scheduled with a master stylist, but they called out the very day of my appointment. Since I had traveled without makeup or hair tools, I had no choice but to keep my appointment with another stylist. While my hair turned out okay, I can’t say I loved it. The makeup, however, was a very poor experience. When I explained what I was looking for, I expected the stylist to create that look. Instead, I was asked repeatedly throughout the process what colors I liked, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsure. The end result looked unprofessional—almost like a child had done my makeup. To make matters worse, the false eyelashes they applied fell off within 10 minutes of me leaving the salon. On top of that, one of the workers kept coming in during my appointment, watching how my makeup was being done, and even asking me questions like what I was going to wear. I had come in already dressed because I needed to leave directly for the venue. Having people walk in and out while I was trying to get ready only added to my discomfort and made the experience even more unsettling. Please understand that when clients are getting their hair and makeup done, it’s important to give them privacy and allow them to feel relaxed, not questioned or interrupted. For the price I paid, the service should have been nothing short of outstanding. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable, unsatisfied, and disappointed. I’ve had my makeup done by many professionals over the years, and this was by far one of my worst experiences. Having trusted Sapphire in the past, I expected the same exceptional service I once knew—not something so mediocre.

I had the most amazing experience at Sapphire for my wedding day! We had access to their beautiful bridal room, which made the whole morning feel relaxed, fun, and extra special. Jane (hair) and Ally (makeup) were incredible—not only are they exceptionally talented, but they’re also the sweetest people to work with. They made me feel so comfortable and confident, and I absolutely loved how everything turned out. I truly felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day. If you’re a bride looking for a team who will make you look (and feel) amazing, I can’t recommend Sapphire enough! Myself and my bridal party left looking and feeling great.

Staff were very pleasant. But my hair that's a different story. Came with grown out highlights and wanted blonde highlight. But now I have this odd colored hair. And none of my hair color. This is not my natural hair color with highlights. Don't recommend. They don't listen to what color you want.
