Europe Nails

Ive never paid this much to have my nails end up looking like this at the end. Absolutely no apex and some of them literally look like they have craters in the middle. I’m so sad. Update: after TWO days my nails have snapped partially off due to there be no apex. I’m so frustrated and will never recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT GO THERE.

I came into European Nail in the Westmoreland Mall after injuring a nail and needing it removed ASAP. Thankfully, it wasn’t a problem—the gentleman who helped me was kind, gentle, and handled the situation with care. That positive start gave me confidence to stay and get a fill-in on the rest of my nails with a very simple design. I wanted to adjust the shape from stiletto to a softer coffin shape, and I even brought a reference photo to help communicate my request. The nail tech working on me didn’t speak much English, so I explained my shape preference to another man in the salon, who seemed to be in charge. I calmly mentioned I just wanted to be sure she understood the shape I was looking for. Unfortunately, his response felt very defensive and dismissive—he started implying that I was being too picky and had unrealistic expectations, even though I had been respectful and clear. He eventually said they "didn’t really want to do it" because I was expecting too much, which honestly caught me off guard. At that point, I became emotional—not because of the nails, but because this was the fifth salon I had tried in the area (which is overwhelmingly white), and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being prejudged simply for being a woman of color. I’m a simple, clean-nails kind of person—I don’t ask for much. I wasn’t demanding perfection, just trying to be understood. What hurt the most was how quickly I was labeled as “too much” just for calmly expressing what I wanted. It felt like a lack of both confidence and skill on their end, and it was incredibly disappointing to be treated that way after initially having a positive interaction. Dont waste your time especially if you have a inspo pic or if you a POC

I got a full set of acrylics done and loved them!! Andy is super sweet and so gentle!! I will definitely be back!! *Edit* Once again I am super happy with the service!! I went back tonight and everyone was super sweet! She made a mistake and as soon as she noticed it, she fixed it! I don't know why there are such bad reviews on this place, I absolutely love it here! Definitely making them my regular nail place!

I will never be back! My girlfriend and I got a pedicure! The lady never washed her hands in between me and my girlfriend she didn’t wear any gloves! She never used clean tools the place is dirty horrible sanitation!! I would not even give them 1 star!!! I have definitely seems better nails done how what I paid!they never cut or shaped them!

I’ve been going to this place for years! Everyone does such an amazing job!! They never fail to give me the nails I want! I so recommend using them!
