Crystal Nail Spa

Crystal did a phenomenal job with my nails today! I told her I wanted brown because I was going to be in a wedding this weekend and wanted them to look nice. She asked what color my bridesmaid dress was and then worked this design up for me which looks amazing and really accents the brown and my dress! Thank you so much Crystal!!

This $110 nail salon visit was the equivalent of being served cold food at a restaurant. I’ve never had this experience at a nail salon before, and I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years. I’ve been coming here for a while and never had any issues. This was my go-to spot. I came in at around 6 PM on a Wednesday for a gel acrylic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure tech left polish on my cuticles/skin. It looked a bit tacky, but I figured it was no big deal, as it would lift and come off of my skin at some point. She got up and left me with no lotion on my legs at all, and my pants still rolled up, so I wasn’t sure if she was done. My manicurist came by and I told her the end of the pedicure hadn’t been completed yet. So she squirted lotion on my legs and told me “use your hands” to rub it in. I can lotion my own legs of course and I’m not whining for the sake of it/entitlement purposes, but I also recognize too that I am spending hard-earned money of mine on a service. With that being said, I paid for a “spa pedicure” and believed I should’ve received the full service. It’s also the dead of winter, incredibly dry outside, and the skin on my legs was cracked, dry, and itchy. She halfway rubs it in with an attitude and tells me to sit in the manicure chair. Throughout the whole manicure she’s filing against/on my cuticles and skin and cutting me. I start wincing in pain and she chuckles. My nails turn out lumpy, there’s polish on my skin, and she cut me with the drillbit (the photo with the circle is showing the nick in my skin). I asked her for something to dab the blood and she hands me a used paper towel that was on her counter. She was hurting my skin and pushing my actual nail bed around by the tip of the acrylic a lot, and I kept retracting, flinching, and wincing. She just kept chuckling at me. She also got a good amount of liquidized acrylic under my nails, and was incredibly rough when trying to go under and file it off. Normally, I tip 20%. She asks if I wanna leave a tip and I politely decline stating that for $110 I had to finish my own pedicure and I was cut/repeatedly injured while she didn’t seem to care, on top of the fact that she was also just very disrespectful. She became irritable and pushy and I re-explained the entire experience to her. I was let out by the owner (the door was locked since it was past 7:30 by then) and I ask the owner if I could come back sometime to get them fixed, as I know they just closed and everyone wanted to go home (I felt as if they were rushing). They were making it a hassle and told me to come back during the next fill to get them fixed. I took the photos after going home and filing away some of the lumps myself, because I just couldn’t sit with the thought of having paid $110 for that. This was so upsetting because I really liked this place and thought I had found my spot. I want to emphasize that I showed up nearly 2 hrs before they closed, and they had no problem accepting me in.

LOVED the pedicure service! Everyone was so friendly and the spa was clean and professional. I felt very comfortable there and will definitely be back! It’ll be my new regular place for sure. They offer a nice range of pedicure service options ranging from $40-55 and the chairs are in great shape with relaxing massage options. The staff are all wonderful and the color options are beautiful and plenty. I got gel polish which lasts long and looks so nice. The sugar scrub smelled and felt lovely along with the foot/leg massage. Tools were all cleanly packed and staff were very gentle and thorough with their work. My husband and I actually came in together and he feels super pleased with everything just like me. It’ll become a regular spa date for us. We even got a gift card for my mom to use next time we come. Definitely recommend!!

Crystal and her team were incredible! They went above and beyond for my daughter (and 3 friends!) for her 10th birthday. Not only did their nails turn out gorgeous with sweet flower accents, everyone was so friendly and kind with the girls. Crystal is a true gem!

The owner, Crystal, is an amazing professional and run a tight ship. She is a perfectionist with my nails. Today, we decided to add a little bit of color by having a coral French tip with a ring finger. That’s a muted gold.
