2023-04-23My first time here; I was so nervous. I moved to Newport almost 3 years ago and it was time to find a salon close to home. I choose "My Salon" based off reviews and it was a great choice! From the moment I walked in it felt like I'd been going here for years. Sam was my hairstylist. She did a great job, very knowledgeable, listen to all my concerns, colored my hair just how I wanted, and my cut was perfect! The salon itself is so cute and clean and the other staff seemed so friendly and welcoming also. This is a full salon, they do hair, nails, waxing, and ear piercing! If you're looking for a new salon, definitely choose this place and book with Sam you'll be so happy you did!

2024-06-04Found this little gem through great reviews so I have to leave one. Mom and I really needed haircuts so I googled and made our appts. We got side by side cuts and both stylists did exactly what we wanted. They were so nice and made sure we were happy when we left. We will definitely be back.

2024-05-05Hanna's prom do looked "ok" (to her satisfaction anyway) when we left the salon. But It did not look that much like the pic we showed the girl. But by the time we got some (a 10 min drive) it was already faling down and coming apart. I had to spend more than 30 min working on it to make it at least look acceptable. The girl Emma was sweet and courteous seemed unsure of herself but it was Definitely not a $65 +tip hairdo

2024-05-06I have been going to My Salon for years. Gay has been my stylist for most of that time. She’s wonderful! She listens carefully to what you want to have done, gives recommendations for the best way to do that, and then “works her magic.” I love their new location!
