Vegas Nails

My husband enjoy coming to Vegas nails for our pedicures. The salon is very clean and relaxing. This was my first time getting gel/no chip on my toes and the gel lasted for over a month. My feet were soft for weeks. I appreciate that the nail techs use a newly packaged file, Pumice and clipper kit for each client. I love that their pedicure room has dimmed lighting and is quietly relaxing. I’ve seen multiple nail techs including Tiffany who is kind and professional! I’m happy that we chose Vegas nails for our couples pedicures.

Usually satisfied with my nails and pedis, but was very dissapointed this time, especially for the price. I came in with builder gel and wanted no chip gel polish. The girl filed my nails down so much to the point it hurt. I have thick nails, but could bend them down by the time she finished. My nails have not broken in months. Within three days three were broken and polish was chipped on others. It’s been one week, five of my nails have broken due to how thin she left them. I usually love this place, but was very very disappointed this time.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years at this point and I love it here. The service is incredible every time . The pedicures are amazing and my acrylics are perfect every time. The shaping is the best. Natalie and Long are my favorites because of their standout work. They are always so accommodating and are great with walk ins even when they’re super busy in the evenings. Overall a great place and may fave in all of Lake county.

Would not recommend, I highly suggest you do your research on this place. They reuse (what are supposed to be one time use) the pedi flops because they think throwing them in the washing machine is acceptable instead of throwing them away like intended just to cut costs. Not to mention the jets in the pedi tubs are RARELY cleaned the proper way they just put the liners and call it good. As well as they aren't licensed nail techs other then the owner of the salon (long), which you can look up yourself on the IDFPR(Illinois department of financial and professional regulation). Meaning they legally should not be servicing clients because they don't have the education that is required to do so. I've seen them work on fungus on toes then proceed to use that same contaminated polish on the next client. I've seen them remove ingrown toenails (which is illegal, only a podiatrist is licensed to do so) to the point clients are bleeding. So if you value the health of your nails I wouldn't come to vegas nails. And I will be making an anonymous tip to the state board

I have been going to Vegas nails for a couple years now and find their product and service are higher quality than all the other nail salons I have tried in the area. Usually I request Long or Natalie to do my nails but have occasionally used others and have been happy with the service. Long is skilled at nail art and will always do better than the pictures I bring him. He recently did my wedding nails and I was extremely happy as always.
