Palace Nails

I've been very happy with every set I've gotten at Palace Nails! Kristy does dip powder with such a light hand and then puts gel polish on top so they don't get too thick like I usually find dip to be, but they last much longer than gel alone. Highly recommend!

I have been coming to this nail salon religiously for the past few years & have always loved how my nails have come out. Today tho, Ben absolutely NAILED my spooky set. He took his time, cared about the health of my nails underneath, and went above n beyond in creating this set! Update: Ben killed my Christmas gingerbread themed nails💅🏼🥰 I’m OBSESSEDDDDD

Ben did such an amazing job on my Halloween nails for Disney! I’ve never been to this salon before and I’m very particular about my nails, Ben absolutely nailed it. He had amazing attention to detail. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful as well, will definitely be back!

I LOVE this place, walked in and the staff were the most kindest people, made me feel very comfortable and secured. The nails are high quality and very much time efficient. Ben gave me the best quality nails in a short amount of time and paid attention to every little detail to make them PERFECT.

I used to pride myself and doing my nails at Palace nails since I moved to Peoria, Illinois. I’m not a big nail person; when I discovered that doing dip works for me in that, it lasts almost a month, with minimal damage to my nails, it quickly became my go to whenever I needed to get my nails done. In the past, I have come here and reliably been able to get services done quickly and professionally. My last experience before July 4 has changed everything for me though. I came in at my scheduled time and had to wait, as I often do. When it was time, the tech who was assigned to me expressed displeasure because I was particular with what color I wanted for my nails, which was a nude that would complement my skin tone as well as chrome powder. Another tech was then assigned to me; and previous technician and the lady in charge kept talking and looking at me throughout the session in a different language, I did not understand which made me uncomfortable. The second technician who was assigned to me, proceeded to place the dip powder on my nails, for which I expressed concern that the layering was too light. I was told that this was “good“. Less than a week later, I noticed that the dip polish on my little finger had come off. Today, the polish on my dip finger had come off. This had never happened before since I’ve been doing my nails here. I called to express concern and I was told to come in this evening so they could take a look at it. On arrival here, I was assigned to the same tech Who did my nails previously, which I thought was not a smart idea if the work was already subpar the first time. I asked if my other nails could be inspected to make sure that they were not going to loosen up and fall off once I leave. I was told by the lady in charge that was not going to be possible as she could not predict when nails fall off. I was told that if nails were to fall off tomorrow, that would not be on them, but on me. I then asked them to take off all the nail polish so that my nails could heal, instead of having nails in different stages. This was very disappointing as I have been a long-standing customer here for the last two years. The way my nails looked broken and chipped after polish removal in addition to how humiliated I was in front of other clients definitely made me change my alliances on where I would be getting my nails done. If you do not want to be made to feel like a second class citizen or treated differently from other clients, look elsewhere to get your nails done in Peoria.
