Ivy Nails

I love coming here every 2 weeks, Ivy is the absolute best and sweetest person there is. I always let her do what she wants and its never been a problem. I like getting odd stuff on my nails, abnormal and creative things and she does that! Its really beautiful. She's always ready for me, has new ideas to try each time 💕💅💓😊

I felt like an inconvenience to the tech even though I made an appointment. I think her name way Ivy because the name on the UV lamp at the table said Ivy on it. She was rushing and not even looking at my nails sometimes while she worked. I'm a Black person and I asked for nude polish but she offered me light pink. I asked if she had anything that's a little more tan. She finally got up and went to find me a tan that I liked. She applied the tan gel polish and it was very streaky with brush strokes and filled with bubbles that made my nails look like they were moldy. You could even feel the roughness on the surface. The tech acted like she didn't see it. Then she said she saw it but didn't know what it was. She also got the polish stuck to my cuticle area. She said she could put on another coat, drill it off or soak it off. I didn't like any of those options so she said I could leave because she doesn't have time for this and she walked away. I had to stick my hand in the UV lamp for a minute on my way out because she left uncured wet gel polish on my nails. Then I left.

Ivy is amazing! My nails go four weeks without breaking. Every time I go, my nails are even better than I imagined. I cannot recommend her enough.

I recently got a deluxe pedicure at Ivy ($44). During the process, I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a $10 callus removal as well as another $10 foot message, which I respectfully declined. Overall, I wasn’t informed until check out that the addition of gel polish was an extra $18 dollars. This brought the total to $62 without including tip, which I of course left. I’m used to seeing prices at local salons where gel is $10 extra, but I have never seen an up charge this high before. While the pedicure was fine, it certainly didn’t feel worth $70 dollars as I was out of the chair in under 45 minutes. At that price, I’ll be taking my business to other higher tier salons in the area which offer additional amenities included.

Got charged double for my daughters nails who is 10 just because she wanted a certain nail pattern. And they over charged me for my 11 year old who just got a standard gel. But they refuse to refund me even a fraction of what I paid...so I paid close to $130 for 3 gel nails. (I get details on my one daughters nails is a little extra but I feel like they could have handled it better; too much detail to put here, let alone not charge me almost double?!) Otherwise good service, every polite, and they did do a good job on all our nails.
