Essence Nails

Run the other way as fast as you can! I've never had such a bad experience getting my nails done! The mam attempted to do them but screwed them up so bad he sent me to his wife's chair to try and fix them! Rather than start fresh, she tried to work on his filed down mess! End product hideous nails half inch shorter then what I chose, coffin almond shape from trying to file off the mess! After 2hrs and 36mins I walked out with a $55 charge and the worst nails ever! Guess I'll wait the 2 weeks till my girl is back from vacay! Trying this place was a huge mistake! The amount of acrylic stuck all over my hands they didn't bother cleaning off is disgusting. I couldn't imagine charging someone for such hideous work!

I called ahead to see if they had space for a walk in to get an acrylic fill, which they did, and when I got here the place was empty except for one employee, Moon. She was very polite and chatty with me. I picked a color and she got to work. Now, on my right hand, I had two nails that had lifted some so they were a bit discolored, I thought they’d get filed down and filled in, like it is any other time this happens. I would have even been ok with her saying it is better to get a new set instead of a refill. So things progress and chalk it up to maybe the pink base for the French color would cover it, but she used clear, so it is still very visible. While her work was quick and she was very friendly, I was rather upset to pay full price for it. She did get my nails squarer than most others, and the fill itself is nice, the French tips I got, right hand is pretty good, wish it was a bit lower to cover where my real nail meets the nail bed, left hand certain fingers there is barely a curve to the French tip. I just wish there was a little more care taken or whatnot. A couple had walked in shortly after she got started with me, for pedicures, and since she’s the only one there, I feel like she was a little pressed for time to get me done so she could attend to them. I would consider coming back again if I was getting a fresh set instead of a fill.

This place is the best! I recently went and got a new person, where she messed up my design. (I was too scared to say anything) so I called the next day and they got me in and fixed it. They showed her the mistake, and were super nice and apologetic. Everybody needs to start somewhere so it was a learning step for her! I couldn’t imagine supporting any other nail place, they’ve been my go to for years! If they make a mistake let them know and they will fix it for you.

Definitely my go to nail salon in butler! They get you in and out! If you are looking to get acrylics I would recommend one of the girls they really know what they are doing!

Sally always does a great job taking care of me. Making an appointment makes life much easier than when I just try to fit it in.
