2025-12-12I’m beyond disappointed with the lack of customer service I received today. From the moment I called, the front desk receptionist, was rude, dismissive, and outright unprofessional. She talked over me, refused to listen, and even hung up the phone. How is anyone supposed to cancel or reschedule an appointment when the person answering the phone refuses to do her job? I want to share my experience in detail. During my previous appointment, I arrived on time but ended up waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes before Katie Babbs, my stylist, came out. That delay pushed everything back. Katie was running around with her assistant, Lydia, and while they’re both sweethearts, it was clear that the chaos was stressful. Yet I remained patient and understanding throughout. However, in that 2nd appointment, the toner ended up making my hair muddy brown instead of lightened, and I paid $200 for just that. I was paying to have my hair lightened, not darkened. My original appointment was $ 700, so I expected it to lift more. On top of that, because Katie was running behind, she started working on another client simultaneously making it more chaotic. Then Lydia was in a rush to leave and asked if we could speed up the process and skip the curling and just blow dry the hair, I agreed bc I’m understanding. I hope it was unintentional the rushing and feeling like I was just another head, and Katie and Lydia were nice but I did not demand a refund or charge because Katie wasn’t on time, or the fact I didn’t get complete attentive care. I was considerate. Unlike your receptionist who clearly needs to be replaced or talked too. She reflects your company image. In stark contrast, the receptionist was consistently dismissive and didn’t bother to understand the full scope of the situation she maybe just overheard a conversation or maybe the hair stylist told her something. though I was patient and don’t complain, she treated me poorly, and that’s simply unacceptable. There is no way I would pay a dime for a service from a salon that treats people like this. Why would I ever come back after being treated that way? This was one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had. She was rude and not helpful at all. It’s her job to ensure that appointments flow smoothly, and she was incredibly unhelpful. You do not deserve my time or money. The way she spoke to me was belittling and disrespectful. I was shocked by how dismissive and rude she was, it was honestly disgusting behavior. No customer deserves to be treated that way. She’s part of the image I will have of this salon. I expected more from a high-end salon, and I’ve seen other reviews with the same complaint about her. I hope she heals. The salon needs a better system and more kind and patient employee. I couldn’t even get her name , she refused to give it to me. She was working Friday ~4 pm 12/12/25 she was a mean lady! And honestly why would she refuse if she truly hadn’t done anything wrong? simple: she knew she was in the wrong. She was treating me horribly for no reason and had 0 context to my situation. It was just gross behavior. I didn’t even want to make this appointment in the first place because I wasn’t even gonna be back from vacation yet, and I knew that and I told my hairstylist that. Yet, she scheduled me anyway. She was like, “It’ll be fine,and we’ll take care of you.” Like I said, I was not taken care of. In fact, it felt like it was almost bullying, them trying to get me to spend more money at a place where I get yelled at over the phone by a lady who has a hint of what’s happening but doesn’t understand the full context. I don’t think that’s nice. I don’t think that’s fair because I didn’t charge Katie for her being late to my appointment and me being very patient throughout the whole thing. So, very kindly, please remove that invoice, and I will not be dealing with this anymore because this situation has added so unneeded stress, and not only did I receive no service at all, I was not given fair treatment. It’s been difficult to say the least.

2025-11-22Love my cut and beard trim! It’s always a treat to see and talk to Doug, too! UPDATE: made another appointment and couldn’t align it with Doug’s schedule, so randomly went with whoever was available and got Andre. A different experience but also a great one. I’m thinking that maybe everyone there is terrific and it doesn’t matter who you get!

2025-08-22Sue has been my stylist for several years and she always nails exactly what I want! I trust her completely and have never had a bad experience. The salon is beautiful and has easy access to the building. I wouldn't change for anything! 10 Stars!!

2025-10-11I wasnt going to leave a review because it wouldnt have fixed my problem but i figured itd be nice to warn other people. This was the first time i had even gone to a salon to get my hair done and i decided to splurge on myself a little, i ended up buying hair extentions over 1500 dollars. My stylist did an amazing job and made me feel so welcomed and pretty every time but when i finally decided to take them out she offered to hold them for me so she could store them properly and have them ready whenever i wanted them back in. After that I had reached out a couple times and was met with silence until i emailed the salon to ask for my hair extensions back and immediately she texted back saying she doesnt have them because she always sends them home with the client. Looking back i should have never trusted anyone to take care of my things for me, especially things of high value, but hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake. My stylist was Katie Babbs.
