I’ve been coming to Plainfield Nails for 4 years now, and they’ve ALWAYS SUCCEEDED to make my zany and crazy nail ideas come to life! Jenny, in particular, has been a God send and understands what I want, even when I give her some far fetched idea. Overall, all the staff are talented, skilled and extremely personable. Feels like family when you visit here. The place is always clean, comfortable and full of warm energy. I’ll likely be coming here for life!!!

I really wanted to like this place. Went for a pedicure a few weeks ago and it was OK so I booked an appointment for acrylic nails with no chip manicure. To start, tech was 45 min late. And afterwords, by far the worst „fake nails” I have ever gotten! All crooked, acrylic powder packed so tight around the cuticles and side of the nail bed that it made my nails look extremely wide. My cuticles were trimmed and „filed” by the drill to a point that the area around nails is sore and red. Nail polish left around my nails on my fingers. Very sloppy and unflattering look. I hope that the tools were sterilized… ***in response to that aggressive owner’s comment; additional photo submitted.

Overall was a good experience until I was yelled at by the gentleman doing my nails. I had asked for French acrylics and while he was painting them, I noticed the white part was too thick. I let him know and showed him a picture of what I liked - he proceeded to wipe the french tip off of my nails, storm away, then storm back to yell at me - “NO FRENCH TIP. ONLY TOP COAT”. Then again stormed away while yelling to his coworkers. I appreciate the damage control that was put in place (I was reassured by the nice woman doing my pedicure + had someone else finish my french tips), but overall feel that was unacceptable behavior. This was a really special set I was getting for my honeymoon and was hoping for a relaxing experience. Please learn to treat your customers with kindness.

My nail tech Trinny is awesome! She does an amazing job and takes her time to make sure your nails turned out exactly like you want them. I love the way they turn out every time!! But the fourth and fifth picture was done by Kenny, who did an amazing job!! The color looks so much more amazing in person than it does in a picture. It’s very glossy and shimmery..❤️ He is a very nice person and has a very fun personality! I’ve never had him before, but I was very pleased with his work and he was very patient with my decisions and changes that I kept making. The whole staff there is absolutely wonderful! They greet you by name when you walk in and they. personally, say goodbye when you leave. It’s like they know everyone of their customers names!! That’s something that definitely makes me feel good when I walk in and when I walk out! Thank you once again, Kenny, and I look forward to my birthday discount next month, can’t wait to see the magic You’re going to create for me!!! Happy holidays to all of you!!
