Dat nails

I went to Dat nails a few days ago, no appointment just went in and they took me right away. Kenny did my nails, his wife owns the shop. He was very funny, very kind, and overall such a delightful person. He did an amazing job on my nails. I mentioned not always liking nails i get done but don’t like to say anything. He made sure to show me after each step and see if I was happy with it. He overall did a fantastic job on my nails. They look amazing and I will for sure be coming back!

Today was the first time coming to Dat Nails in Palos Heights. I got a pedicure and a dip powder manicure. The staff was welcoming, the store was clean, organized and beautiful. I didn’t have an appointment and got taken care of immediately. My tech, Quinn(sp?), was amazing and took time to do the job right. It’s probably the best pedicure I’ve had. I will definitely be back to this establishment. Thanks, DAT Nails!

Didn’t have a good experience. I will not be returning to this nail shop. I was here 3/30/24 @ 245 pm. The woman who did my nails was a nice lady. I came for a fill In which is $35 and up. The lady burned me several times using the small nail drill. I told her 3 times that hurts please use the nail file or clippers. She didn’t listen much. My nails are sloppy and I was charged $50 for regular polish and just a fill in not a new full set. This nail salon caters to one specific race, and it’s not AFRICAN AMERICAN FOLKS. Cuticles are very sloppy. Nail polish is not smooth. This is one bumpy looking fullset for $50. Words of advice, Go where you are appreciated, we all as Americans work hard for our money. I will not be returning to this racist shop! I was overcharged for being black. I didn’t wont to cause any trouble, I was afraid I would be labeled as the mad black woman. I left peacefully and I thanked the lady who burned me three times. I will never give this business my patronage again!

This was my second time at this nail salon, and I am very happy with the service. Quinn did an exceptional job and was very gentle and detail-oriented. I will be returning! :)
