Sara's Nail Salon El Cerrito

I unfortunately won’t be coming back unless I absolutely have to. To start, the receptionist told me my session would be 45 minutes, but it ended up being an hour and 20 minutes. I specifically asked if getting the deluxe pedicure would still keep it within 45 minutes, and they confirmed it would. Because of the delay, I ended my pedicure late, showed up 5 minutes late to my therapy appointment. I was also wet after. I told them I could fold my pants up myself but the pedicurist folded my pants with their wet hands. During the part where they wrap your legs with a hot, wet towel, they placed it on top of my pants which left them soaked. I don’t understand why they would do that, and it didn’t feel sanitary at all. I ended up leaving the place and running straight into my Uber. When I got home, I also realized my toenails weren’t even cut straight (especially my big toe and pinky toe).

I really liked this place at first and most of the women who work there are very nice but 3 days after I got my acrylics done 2 of my nails broke in half. I then went back in and they fixed them free of charge which is good, but when I got home ANOTHER nail cracked and broke. They are beautiful nails but I’m very disappointed in the durability of them. Update; another nail cracked 2 hours after I posted this and I will be calling and asking for a refund

I had a great time here! Tina helped with my manicure and pedicure today. I didn’t request polish, but my nails were shiny and clean. I was a walk-in and I had a mimosa while I was seated. The prices were a little expensive compared to other salons in the area. I walked out paying $83 (58 for deluxe pedicure and 25 for manicure). Nonetheless! I will come back and would recommend coming.

My first time visiting and it was lovely. I really love my nails and toes. Belle did a great job on my nails. It’s hard to find a good nail shop that knows how to shape well. I will be back for sure.

I’ve been living in California for two years, and this was my very first time getting my nails done here. I was skeptical, so I chose something simple, thinking it would turn out well. Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed and upset with the result. I usually don’t complain, but I feel I need to this time—especially considering I was charged $72. I’ve attached pictures of the design I asked for and what I actually received. The difference is really disheartening, and it’s not what I expected at all. Edit: I am so glad that they offer me to redo my nails. I am satisfied this time and very happy with the results. Thank you
