2024-04-07I have been almost crying since I left the shop. I grew out my hair long enough to perm the top, crown, back and sides. I only wanted unpermed sideburns and about a 3 inch section at the nape. I brought a picture and asked if she could make it look similar and she assured me she could. Instead of perming the length I had and then trimming it and shaping it, she cut it extremely short and then permed just the top. The sides and back are flat to my head with no perm. I have a poof of curls just on the top that is extremely short. I look like a poodle. This is the worst hairstyle I've ever had. I didn't say anything because I don't like hurting people's feelings. But I am embarrassed to have my hair looking like this and I have a professional job.This is not what I asked for. Once she cut the sides there was nothing I could do. I only gave one star and it was because she really is very sweet, but she doesn't have the vision to realize what her decisions may do to someone. I will not be going back. I was charged an extra $5 for a gentle body wave even though I called and asked what it would cost. Then I found out that if I used my debt card I was going to be charged an extra 6%, even though that is what most people use these days. I even gave her a decent tip because I felt obligated. I am so upset. I'm sorry, Melissa D, but you didn't hear me nor did you really look at the picture.

2019-06-13I always go to beauty art and have my usual stylist and its always amazing. This morning I did an impromptu visit hoping I could get in with my usual girl but she was booked. I asked if anyone else could do it and thank goodness there was. I was nervous to have someone else cut my hair BUT this woman was amazing! Beauty Art really does, ONLY employ the BEST! Thank you for fitting me in and amazing cut!!
