I don’t even know where to begin. Like other customers whose reviews I’ve read, I have been to this nail salon on multiple occasions and sadly I must say I’ve only had a somewhat pleasant experience one time. Today I went to the nail salon hoping for some relaxation (hence the name “MeTime”) and some much needed nail/cuticle care. I walk into the salon and right away the owner “greets” me, “How can I help you?” I respond “I’d like to get a manicure”. “What kind?” He says. So I say “ just a regular manicure”, “yea but what kind?”, and then abruptly he starts just listing off all these different things (different types of polish I’m assuming because he didn’t really take the time to explain the difference) so I decided to go with what I know and tell him gel polish. So I picked my color and I have a seat. I am not a stranger of manicures, and the service that I received today was definitely not a Manicure. They bring over one glass bowl filled with water and some marbles in it so I put my hand in the bowl. My nails were not even soaking for five minutes before he proceeds to take out the Dremel tool and buff, my nails and pretty much prep my nails like they’re going to put on tips. While he’s doing this, he’s also buffing off my cuticles that grow onto my nails, Instead of doing it the proper way and soaking them until they get soft and then pushing them back. Then they file my nails and then they get the cuticle clippers. He clipped off so much of my cuticle that at least three or four of my cuticle beds started to bleed then, at the end, he puts cuticle oil on my cuticles, rubs my hand with lotion and then wipes it off with a hot towel that is not my idea of a manicure and I’m pretty sure that’s not the proper Procedure. As of today I will not be spending any more of my money in this establishment. I’m always a pleasant customer. I always tip at least the 20% if not more and I just don’t feel that I ever receive the service that I should.

Ok so I see I am NOT the only one with the issues similar to what I’m about to write, I’m sorry but I have to write this. I have been going to this nail salon for years now and the past few times I went I left crying ugh. Idk what the case is but these people have been going downhill as time passes. Each time I go it seems to get worse and worse. I mainly go for just pedicures and each time there is an excuse as to why my pedicure looks like my 9yr old son did it. I have been getting pedicures for well over 20yrs and my feet has not changed but for some odd reason the excuses to why my pedicure comes out looking horrible changes each visit. My nail is dark as to why the black streak is showing on top of the polish of 3 of my nails or it’s the color I chose, mind you I got my favorite color so this isn’t my first time using this color and last time there was no black streaks. He did not even cut my cuticles nor file my toe nails “hence” why the polish came out lumpy. It’s always something when I go there and I told myself last time I wasn’t going there anymore but it’s convenient and I thought by asking the owner to do my nails it will be a better experience “which is use to be”, but NOOOO, for him to be the owner he did a rush rush job as well. I can say he is very nice and he redid the messed up nails after I complained but the redo was mediocre as well I could have did my feet myself for what I got. I had to ask him was I getting a rush rush job because I got the regular pedicure he said no but to me I honestly believe that’s the case my pedicure was over in like 15 minutes I have polish residue all over my feet I can still see cuticles on my cuticle line because he did NOT cut them at all and decided to to rub oil on them to hide the fact that he refused to cut my cuticles nor file them. When he redid the nails he had to file the gel off is the only reason why the polish came out smooth NOT BECAUSE I CHOSE A COLOR THAT WOULDN'T SHOW ON MY NAILS “the excuse he gave me”. I know what it’s like to have a good pedicure I have been getting my feet done for years so I’ve mastered what it takes. Not putting water and acting as if you cleaning the dirt underneath the nail, then polishing the nails is going to give you a pedicure look. My pinky toe nail is an example of what I’m talking about I WISH I CAN POST THE PICS ON HERE BUT ITS NOT GIVING ME AN OPTION TO POST PICS SO IDK I WILL TRY TO FIGURE HOW TO POST PICS LATER. When I say filing the nails is part of a pedicure it shouldn’t be skipped. This will be my definite LAST TIME going to METIME NAILS SALON, I’d rather drive 30 minutes away from where I live then to go back there and have a professional nail tech/owner rub oil on my cuticles to cover up excess nail polish and unclipped cuticles. Then ask for a tip. Your tip is do your customers nails as if your would do your own or a family member’s nails. Just being nice isn’t cutting it we are still paying $50 for pedicures and being asked for tips as if you did a phenomenal job.

I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always a good experience. Clean, friendly, and easy to schedule. Coco did my nails last time with these designs! loved it

These are the worst dip nails I’ve ever had. To start, I was charged $5 extra for a nail shape without being told that was the case (no other salon does this.) And after the top coat was dry he tapped it and it wasn’t, so he added gel top coat so it would drive faster, but then those nails all peeled within 3 days. He also didn’t do cuticles at all. The owner is very nice and the salon is nice but I would be remiss if I didn’t leave a review. I will not go back here.

I went here once before and had a decent experience but my experience today has turned me all the way off. I had gone in today with a friend for a pedicure and tips with dip powder. They started me on a pedicure where the woman clipped all my nails extremely short and the pedicure was over in 20 minutes. Did not ask about the shape or take care in the pedicure like the man who had done my previous one. Then for my nails, they were clipped crooked but i decided that they could be fixed later on but they barely were. Nearing the end, she asked me to rinse my hands and I accidentally misheard her and washed with soap and water to which she came with an attitude rudely telling me that it was just supposed to be water.. my bad. The shape and finish of the nails are not professional at all, there are red dots throughout the set, and I was left with my fingers having messy glue and hardened dip powder all around . Highly unsatisfied. But what really turned me off was the way they handled my friends awful nails. Her nails were poorly shaped after she had told him to not touch the shape she had, had lint hardened all throughout the gel polish, and a dent in her thumbnail. She didn’t feel comfortable with the man fixing her nails at that point and had asked for $5 to be taken off the total. He refused to take the money off and only offered to fix them as a “two minute fix” which it would not have been and we had places to be after. Overall, the unprofessional and lack of pride in their work makes this place a no for me. Id encourage you to take your business elsewhere since this place is such a gamble.
