Colors by Kim Hair Salon and Day Spa

I spent 240.00 with a 40.00 tip 2 days before Thanksgiving. I wasn’t really able to see the full color in the salon but after a few days my concerns I had mentioned we’re still there. When Kelly bleached my hair there was a dark spot and I asked if the toner would correct it so I paid for a toner and I’m sorry but this is terrible. There’s like 4 colors in one section. The haircut I asked for wasn’t what I had hoped for either. I wanted a more thicker front fringe and shorter. My blowout seemed rushed. I’d really like a refund or partial at best. Paying 280.00 to leave like this is unacceptable. I had to edit my 5 star for this past service. I will not be returning. For a hairdresser to allow a color out the door like this…and at that price point, it could’ve been corrected. If you need photos of my hair I can send them to an email or phone.

I’ve been going to Maria D at Colors by Kim for about 11 years now, and she’s truly the best! She’s incredibly talented - especially when it comes to color and always knows how to make my hair look amazing. I’ve referred several friends to her, and they’ve all fallen in love with her work too. I’ll keep sending people her way because she deserves all the praise she gets! Highly recommend!

I’ve been visiting CBK for years. My mother and my daughter also go here as well, so we have three generations of loyal clients now! The salon is extremely clean and the vibe is great! All of the staff are very professional and accommodating. I have been fortunate enough to have Kelly as my stylist forever. She always has great assistants helping her as well. I’ve had other treatments as well such as lash curling, and I’ve always been happy with the results. We love Colors by Kim!

I’ve been going here since i the first time i ever had gotten my hair done, and that was when i was 12. I’ve been seeing Laura for the past 4 years and she has never failed me once, along with the other hairstyles that have done my prom hair and styled my hair. it’s always such an amazing experience and i will never go to another hair salon! as someone with thick, wavy, long hair, it’s hard to find people to trust with your hair. but i’ve found my place and i love it here!

I have been with Maria around ten years I think and she has done wonders with my hair! Maria is the most personable, kind, and talented hairstylist I have ever met. I have since moved out of the area but still drive an hour to see her because she is that good. She takes pride in her work and always tries to better her techniques with continued learning and research. Once you find a gem like her, you don’t leave. There’s no one better and trust me, I have looked.
