Hired for hair and makeup on my wedding day. I really loved both hair stylists making sure we were good and our hair looked great! The loss of rating comes from the makeup artist (I want to say her name was Mallory but I really don’t remember) I was asked how many were getting makeup done, I answered listing my bridesmaids and myself. I unfortunately have an eye sty and when I said told her I have a sty she cut me off and said “ I can’t touch your face” she then went on to say it’s because of my sty and it would contaminate her products. Then said it’s a legal thing. Okay I totally understand if you can’t put any of your make up on my eye, but to just come out and say “ I can’t touch your face” in front of others really sucked especially being the bride. I was then told to call someone to bring me makeup and I could still pay her 85$ to do makeup with my personal makeup, I did. I got makeup brought to me. The slightly wrong shade but doable. She painted my face with concealer and foundation and said “ I can’t do anymore with your eye” everyone was all glammed up then there was me. To make it worse all my pictures were showing bright white under my eyes too which I was asked if I was baking my face but it was all concealer. I didn’t pay for my makeup my bridal party did because they felt bad for me but I think they deserve a REFUND for my makeup, we had to completely remove what this makeup artist did and redo ourselves and it looked 100 x better and I put more of a glam look that I wish I would’ve got the first time. I really get it not wanting to contaminate your makeup, but to make me the bride feel like crap and look crap, like just say no period. Also how are you allowed to do makeup on one person dipping the same brush in makeup multiple times without sanitizing the makeup pallet between people??? Shouldn’t we be using disposable for larger events or weddings? My bridal party was small but how many people had the makeup been used on before without proper sanitation of the makeup pallet? Also stuff like this should be prefaced when being booked. I had no clue I couldn’t get anything done makeup wise, I would’ve probably cancelled makeup services all together if I couldn’t get it done by the artist. The whole situation just sucks because a day about me and I couldn’t do anything but walk around and literally cry because I didn’t get to experience my wedding day the way it was supposed to go. If I could rate separate I would.

I explained how I wanted it cut. And I thought she understood how I wanted it. And it did not turn out like I wanted it. Way Too short!!! I don't even want to leave the house!

I just left the salon, I had the honor of having Haylee work on my hair. She was amazing, kind and hilarious. She made my first time in a salon memorable! Not to mention she did miracles on my hair. I went from box dye (black) to a beautiful salt and pepper! I highly recommend this salon all of the women are amazing!

just saw Kim and she absolutely SLAYED the house down on my nails!! super upbeat and fun and loved her cutesy setup for her nail station. Jenna also does a wonderful job on my hair every time and she’s so fun. 10/10 would recommend ❤️💅
