Bliss Nails and Spa Martin

I don’t normally do this but I was really taken aback by this. I understand when you go to a nail salon you don’t normally get “exactly” like the picture you show but this isn’t really about that. I paid $100 which isn’t against my normal. But for my hands to not have any cuts walking in, except the one in the middle of my middle finger, I feel slightly mistreated. I was wincing the entire time and I should’ve said something during any part of the process. After I got back from washing my hands I told him about one of the cuts that was bleeding pretty bad because he glued my finger to my nail and started filing so hard it cut me, and he laughed it off and put some kind of antiseptic I’m guessing on it and kept going. Underneath my nails is lined in glue and acrylic. The sides of my nails are lined in acrylic. Again, totally my fault for not cutting the service off when I felt uncomfortable, but I decided against it and wanted to just get done and get out after a 12 hr shift and wanted to use it as a reviewing opportunity. I still tipped because he was doing my nails from the time I walked in at 9am all the way until I made the charge for them at 11:58am. I’m not expecting anything out of this other than for people to know for their own experience. I’ve included my own photos of the nails and cuts, then my inspiration photo that I showed him. Edit: today is the second day, I can count them now and there are 13 cuts.

Horrible. My nail tech was shaky so I knew right off the bat this wasn’t going to go well. I wanted my nails rounded almond shape and I didn’t get that my polish after 5 days peeled off. He also cut me with the drill a few times on my cuticles and side of my ring finger nail bed. Never apologized. Also I asked to use their bathroom and he said no. I went to check out and they tried to charge me more than original price they told me. Terrible experience

I was there today for a pedicure. I was kindly received and treated extremely well! I was there with a friend and we both had a very enjoyable time. I thought the price for a basic pedicure was very far for the service I received. I will definitely be back.

I am from out of state and recently stepped in here on a whim, after my daughter’s pediatric dental appointment at Happy Teeth (also a phenomenal place), located a few doors down. For my impulsiveness that day, I was pleasantly rewarded with the most beautifully done pedicure I’ve ever received in my life. The owner of the salon was so sweet, and I learned that while originally from Vietnam, she is most recently from Dallas (having a nail spa there), and has relocated to Martin because of her husband’s work. Toni was my technician, and while there was a language barrier, he was very friendly, intuitive, and skillfully trained. The entire staff was friendly, they were sweet to my kid, and the place was well lit & top notch clean. The fact that they do take walk-ins makes it so convenient for us working moms to take a “me” moment, and I felt the pricing was very reasonable for the services I had done. If you are local and able to make an appointment ahead of time, I highly recommend giving Toni a try. I had a great experience in his chair that day, and I was over all impressed with the whole setting.

Nails done Saturday Dec 7th. Chrome peeled completely off of thumb Sunday Dec 8th. Terrible experience! Shuffled from one nail tech to another. Very painful while nails being filed. Botched job that they tried to cover up completely unacceptible!
