Dissapointed that I was charged more for my SNS manicure this time than the previous time here. I asked for the same nail tip shape that I came in with, which another technician in the salon had done the previous time for $45. They charged me more , so I asked why I was being charged more. I was told that it was the shape. The new technician said mine was more "rounded" than what is normal for them, "Almost almond shape". Her response did not make any sense since almond shape is more pointed at the tip and she left them less pointed than I came in with. So less like almond shape. I showed her my nails again, and I said these are not almond shape at all. They are oval/rounded on the tip only. I have never paid extra for a rounded tip or square tip with rounded edges anywhere in the 15 years that I have been getting SNS. Almond tip is typically more, which I did not get. I have added a photo of my nails. She never mentioned there would be an extra charge at any time either. When I explained what I wanted, I mentioned that I do not like my nails filed too much on the sides of the tip bc when they are narrow, they wil break or split, so prefer a rounded shape on the tip. That is why I do not get almond shape. I told her the shape I came in was fine. I actually think she charged me more bc she had to stay past 7:30. She mentioned they don't accept appointments after 6:30.I had called around 6:15 and they told me to come in. When I came in she was a bit cold, but warmed up with conversation, and was sweet. I told her I was surprised that she was telling me they close at 7:30 bc online it showed 8:00. She said no, we close at 7:30. Funny enough another customer came in after me and they told her they were closing, and she said the same thing that I had said. She was surprised bc when she had checked, it said they were open till 8:00. What I paid was not much more money, but I think honesty and transparency in business and charges is important. I think you need to tell clients of any upcharges and if you accept what you consider a late appointment, you should not penalize the client or at least tell them you will charge them more bc of it. Although that still did not apply to me bc I was there a few minutes before 6:30 (their admitted cut-off time) anyway. I did not want to argue, so I paid, but I really should not have. When it comes to the service. The SNS was ok. Thicker than I normally like. I told her I like it natural looking, but could do a tad thicker. She also did not file the SNS near the cuticle enough, so there is a bump and not a gradual increase of product from the cuticle on, which makes it look less natural. She also did not file the edges of the nail bed enough or apply the product all the way to the edge, so some are a bit rough on the edges or not covered completely. Several nail tips had a pretty big bump and then an indention of product on the end. If you know SNS, you know there is no way I did that and it was done while applying. I have added a photo of that. It is a shame bc I thought I had found a place to frequent after my first visit.

💥EDIT-UPDATE💥 I was contacted by the owner to come back so they could make it right. Well I went back. Im still beyond disappointed and 3 of my nails are on fire from the drilling/filing. The shapes are so uneven with nails a lot smaller than the other hand. My pedicure was not even mentioned to be redone either. At this point I just want my money back and call it a day. He did ask me if i wanted him to file the edges because they are so rough and sharp but dang I would have had such tiny thin looking nails if anymore was filed. They also look like they have a big bubble on all of them at the bottom. I work very hard for the money I have and spending what I did to be this disappointed is beyond me. I literally have my right hand pointer finger bleeding, I dont know how to post a picture or I would. DO NOT COME HERE! First off they sat me down and gave me 1 thing of what looked like old colors to choose from. Then the man who was doing my nails put 3 on crooked and i mean they looked BAD so I asked to please straighten them then he proceeded to tell me my fingers were crooked!!! I asked for a design on 2 fingers which he said no problem to and then after 3 tries I finally asked very politely to do just a spiderweb design. He had a bad attitude and was so rude and snippy. I paid for a hot oil pedicure yet not one drop of oil touched my feet. The pedicure also said 10min massage which I only had about a 20 second rub if that then the gun held to my feet for about 7 seconds on each one. The total came out to $120.00 and I have never been more displeased with my nails in my life!!!! I wasnt even able to turn the massage chair on i was sitting in because they just kept putting things in my lap and seemed like they were rushing so fast. I was very uncomfortable the entire time. I work hard every day and finally took this day to do some self care which I feel like I just threw $120 down the sink.. IM BEYOND UPSET! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!

I had an elderly woman do my nails while the younger staff did each other's, one woman was doing her make up, 2 others were eating in the hallway. I had regular nail polish. The cuticle cutting hurt, I bled she basically tore it off. Pressed and yanked it off v.s. cutting it. The top coat all shriveled up on top as if it got colored half way. It looked terrible. I called back asking for a refund as I cannot return back they said to just come back. I live far away, it was a one day meet up with a friend occasion and I was willing to submit pictures for proof. They said thats regular nail polish that's why you should do gel. I've never had issues like this before. If I do not like the service why am I supposed to come back ?

They always do a great job. And the nail art turned out even better than the photo I had shown them. This pic is almost 2 weeks of wear. I forgot to get a fresh one after they were done but they still look cute
