Venus Nails Lounge

I came here for the first time because the reviews were so good, and I wanted to treat myself for my birthday. I walked in and was asked to check in with my phone number and birthday. The front girl just pointed to one of the chairs for me. The vibe felt a little cold. I had Holly ( i think that's her name. She had a heavy accent) for my pedicure. Very nice lady. Wanted to make sure I was comfortable and all. I selected the $80 pedicure. It had everything and a 20 min massage! She started to scrub the bottoms of my feet, and I braced myself because sometimes it's pretty intense. Im not sure what she was doing, but she would lightly scrub a patch here and then scrub a patch there. It went downhill fast. Holly started the 20 min timer and then proceeded to take off the towels wrapped around my legs. Placed them in disposable bags, then started to wipe off all the previous lotion that was on my legs. Then she started massaging. I think i lost 3 min 😕 The massage was sad. Holly would massage like she was barely touching me. She would lightly massage and then stop. She would start again, then stop. She was looking into the distance and zoning out. Meanwhile, another customer was seated in the chair next to me. The front desk girl came over and placed the basket of tools on my shelf where I had the buttons for the chair. I thought she was placing there just to situate herself. Nope. It stayed there in my space the entire time. After Holly finished painting my toes, she placed the disposable flip flops on. I didn't realize until I got home that my pinkie toe got smudged. I also noticed my cuticles were still rough, and the painting was not even. I paid for this on top of a $2 processing fee. I think she's either new or in training because the man said they appreciate feedback. I said it was ok while I shrugged my shoulders. He didn't say anything back. I was disappointed that I didn't feel pampered.

Helen has gentle hands. She also massages good. When I don’t like the initial color applied to my toes, she just said we will change it and suggested a better color. I will definitely ask for her when I return. The salon was very clean and has very friendly staff.

Celine is a great nail tech. I came open minded and she suggested what would be best. I ended up getting “hard gel”. She was detail oriented yet completed the service in a reasonable amount of time. I’m happy with the result.

My daughter and I went for pedicures. The salon is really pretty, they took me right at my appointment time. They did a very nice job on the pedicure,, love the hot towel and leg massage. Would definitely recommend.

we stayed at the close by hotel, and two of us decided to get our nails done before christams. We came in for pedicure and manicure. Mine was done poorly (pic 1), and I was gonna have it fixed somewhere else. At that time, Eva was painting my daughter's nail and saw me showing my daughter my ugly nails. She offered a free do-over. I was hesitated given how poorly my nails were done by the other lady, but boy! Was it a good idea to have her re-do my nails! She was able to match 99% if the design that I showed her. Pic3 is nails after Eva fixed. The nails looked great! She also did a great job for my daughter's nails (pic 2). The service is also priced right! Highly recommend Eva for nail design.
