Kitchen Nail Bar - Palo Alto

I had high hopes given their price point compared to other nail salons in the area. But I left very disappointed. I did mani pedi gel and I left with so many bumps and unevenness. My nails were also cut unevenly. If you try to tell them that there are dust building up, they cut you and say "its okay, i fix" but never do. When the gel was dripping they dont fix it, but just kept putting more making it look more uneven and weird looking. Not worth the money. I regret tipping too. The pedi was okay, i haven't checked my toes to check the quality of the gel, but my mani is definitely already so disappointing enough to leave an honest review.

Visited for the second time, my first was eight months ago. I booked with Jolie based on her great reviews, and she exceeded expectations! I got a builder gel set with a stunning ten-color gradient (white, pinks, reds, browns). Jolie is kind, highly skilled, and professional. One nail's shape was slightly lumpy, so I returned for a fix. She welcomed me back, fixed it perfectly, and thanked me for the feedback. Exceptional customer service! Highly recommend.

Miu Miu is the sweetest and incredibly meticulous with her work. I’m the girl who gets gems on every single nail, and not once has a gem or pearl ever fallen off. My nails always last so long and look flawless. Thank you Miu Miu for making me feel beautiful every time! 😘

Miu Miu is the best! I have been going to her for over a year now and I truly do not trust anyone else to do my nails. I usually do a nude pink with white chrome but since it’s the holidays I wanted to do something new and it turned out so good.

*UPDATE BELOW* Today was my first visit, and I’m so glad I found this place! I recently moved to Palo Alto and had been searching for a good nail salon. After a few unwelcoming experiences elsewhere, I walked into this spot and it was a completely different vibe. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and kindness. They took me right away for my pedicure and even offered complimentary water and champagne, which was such a nice touch. The woman who did my toes was incredibly gentle, kind, and so detail-oriented. When I mentioned it was my birthday, she surprised me with my favorite chocolates, it was such a thoughtful gesture that really made my day. I left feeling so relaxed, my feet and legs are unbelievably soft, and my toes look amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind. Everything was super clean and well-organized, too. Honestly, this was the best nail experience I’ve ever had. I think I’ve found my new go-to spot, and I’m completely in love. I can’t recommend it enough! UPDATE: I paid $114 + $22 for a tip. I should of only been charged $110 since I paid cash, and on the menu it says it's $4 cheaper with cash. Secondly, my toes chipped within two weeks of getting my toes done. I don't wear sandals or like to be barefoot, so it's not because I hit it on something. For $114 for a pedicure, my toes should have lasted much longer. I've gone to get almost the same treatment minus the champagne, and have paid no more than $60-65, and my toes lasted 2+ months. I still stand by my statement above; they do treat you so well, however, paying that much money for my toes to last only less than two weeks, I would rather go somewhere else.
