Peacock Nails @ Lemon Grove

I have been coming here for just over a year now and I have genuinely always had the BEST experience! Bella and Bibi have been the ones to do my manicures to perfection! Highly rec either! And for my pedicures I LOVE Kathy and Yvonne! But you can’t go wrong with anyone in the end. And shoutout to the loveliest woman at the front desk/receptionist ( Ca )who always remembers me :) . I am indecisive but they always help me find something fun and different every time.

I am writing this review after a truly horrible and unacceptable experience at this salon for a scheduled full set and gel pedicure. Unsanitary Practices (Major Concern): The most alarming issue was sanitation. While working on my nails, the technician used a towel that was visibly dirty and had clipped nail remnants from a previous customer on it. This is completely unsanitary and a major health hazard, suggesting a serious failure in hygiene protocols. Hidden/Unexpected Fees: During the service, the technician attempted to charge me an extra $10 just to cut my nail cuticles. In all my prior experiences at this salon and others, cuticle care is a standard, included part of a full set service. The service was further marred by poor attitude. When I politely requested to skip the bath bomb during my pedicure (a personal preference), the technician visibly rolled her eyes. Furthermore, the filing during the full set was extremely rough and painful, even after I verbally told the technician that it hurt, she continued to file aggressively. The combination of unsanitary equipment, unprofessional staff attitudes, and attempts to charge hidden fees for standard services makes this salon one I cannot recommend. I will not be returning. This has been one of the best nail salons I have been to. I got my nails done by Ly and I am beyond amazed by her talented work and welcoming personality. She was so sweet, very patient with me, and accommodated my requests every single time! I absolutely LOVED my nails and LOVED having her! I highly recommend Ly as she goes above and beyond with her work! Will definitely be coming back :))

Nina was my nail tech, she was very inviting in conversation most definitely made me comfortable in the whole process. She remembered me beforehand, and had a great time finding this new set inspo for me. 5/5 love peacock nails, my go to nail place love the team there! In love with my nails!

I was very satisfied with my first visit to peacock nails in lemon grove. The team is very sweet and they take into consideration your needs. Nail technician Nina took care me me and I am looking forward to coming back 🩷 I spent 90 dollars for her to remove my previous nails, take excellent care of my cuticles, and complete a beautiful gel x red french tip! The basic pedicure was 35$ and I am very pleased with the results!
