ORANGE NAIL BAR - SUNNYVALE

Today is my second visit to this place and I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. I absolutely love places with online appointment schedulers and the fact that there’s a tablet to check-in and my appointment confirmations include who is working on my nails? Even better. It’s so seamless and it’s hard to find places that will do that. On another note, I made a horrible choice in style in my nails. I super regretted it and they made time for me the very next day to fix which I’m so grateful for. They’re also so welcoming. After this fix, I’m 100% making this place my only nail salon to go to. I’ve included pictures of the before and after. Special shoutouts to (based off of my appt emails, I unfortunately couldn’t make sure I have the right names): Stacey, Celine, Tiffany, Angie. But especially thank you to the girl who was able to switch me to almond this afternoon! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 My price included the original design and gel-x manicure, plus pedicure (not pictured).

I adjusted to the schedule change, which wasn’t a big issue, but it could have been handled better. The technician never checked if I was satisfied during the service, and the nail shape turned out very different from the photo I showed. The gel was applied far from the cuticles, the tips were over-filed, and sealing was not done properly. By the second week, lifting and cracking had already started, despite minimal wear from daily activities. On the positive side, the price was reasonable, the appointment started on time, and the service was quick. The salon was clean, which I appreciated. Overall, however, the quality did not meet expectations.

Definitely recommend this place if you are into nail art or just into new nail trends since they stay up to date with the newest available products. They are meticulous and very skilled artists. I booked with Moon and she did an amazing job! Unfortunately forgot to take a photo right after my appt but this is what I got and what it looks like ~1 week later. Will definitely be coming back!

I was a little nervous about getting my nails done since I dont get them done often and it was my first time here, but it was an easy and relaxing experience. The overall salon was very cute and trendy, and very clean as well. I booked with Camy and cannot emphasize enough how happy I was with the final look of my nails. I absolutely love them and cant stop staring at how cute they look.

I've been going to this salon for the past six months because the staff is very friendly, kind and the atmosphere is very calm and the salon is always super clean and smells great. Today I brought a friend with me and the staff was kind enough to let her sit at the table with me and even told us to help ourselves with snacks and drinks. I usually I don't ask for a specific technician because all the girls are very talented but for this appointment, I specifically requested Moon and she did such an amazing job that I just had to write a positive review. She did a full set of acrylics with a cat eye nail art and they came out absolutely stunning! My natural nails are very wide and bulky and though I always go for almond shape. Today she did literal magic, my nails look so sleek, skinny and elegant, the almond shape she did is absolutely perfect. She manipulated the artificial tip to work with the natural shape of my nail beds to look like the exact shape of the inspo pic I brought. She made sure to check if I was satisfied with her work every single step of our session. She let me try on a few nail polishes on until I found the one I liked best. She's an amazing technician, make sure to ask for her whenever you book an appointment! Thank you Moon
